Millet porridge
Millet porridge for babies combines the strengths of the two energy carriers rice and millet. Millet is a corn that contains high amounts of B vitamins, calcium, iron, magnesium, and zinc. It has a distinct flavor that will allow your baby to explore new tastes thus making it a great addition to plain rice.
age: 6 months and above
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of Rice. My favorite Rice is Rice Select's Jasmati Rice because of it's nice flavor. Visit Amazon and have a look at what others think about this wonderful Rice.
- millet 2 tablespoons

- water about 1.5 cups / 400 ml (depending on the type of rice you are using, some rice needs more water and some needs less)
How to cook:
1. Cook rice and millet for 1-2 hours. If you own a Rice Cooker use the slow cooking option to cook until you cannot see the shape of the rice. I'm using Aroma's 8-Cup Rice Cooker for cooking rice or steaming food. It is easy to use, reliable and produces excellent results (rice). Depending on the model some rice cookers have a “cook porridge” option. Use a pot if you do not own a rice cooker. Cover the pot and use low heat.
