Egg and minced meat porridge

age: above 8 months

Ingredients:

- 3-4 tablespoons / 50 g Jasmati Rice (Pack of 4). I really love to use Rice Select's Jasmati rice because of its rich flavor.

- water about 1.5 cups / 400 ml (depending on the type of rice you are using, some rice needs more water and some needs less)

- minced pork or beef or a mixture of both meat 1 ounce / 30g

- one egg yolk

- Some drops Sesame Oil. As always, I recommend you to use my favorite Sesame Oil from La Tourangelle. The taste is excellent and the price is very competitive!

How to cook:

1. Put the rice into a pot, add water and cover it to cook it on low heat. Owners of a rice cooker can use the slow cooking option. Some rice cookers have a "porridge" option that you can use to cook rice. It will take approximately 1-2 hours until the rice reached the right consistency.

2. After the rice has been cooked for approximately 20-30 minutes add the minced pork meat and stir to mix it with the rice.

3. When the rice in the porridge is soft, add the spinach and egg yolk. Continue cooking it on low heat. Stir constantly for about 5 minutes until the egg yolk is fully cooked

4. Add 2-3 drops of toasted sesame oil(optional)
